Question about endowment

If I have an endowment with a certain surrender value now, and (say) a bonus of £1000 is added at 31st December, will the surrender value be correspondingly higher in January, or will it be about the same?

    Impossible to say, if the bonus is a declared one and your policy contains a terminal bonus element of £1000 and this was removed, then the surrender value would remain the same.
    Trying to keep it simple...;)
