Hi Kelloggs, I know how you feel when you say you can't be bothered to fight anymore......however!
There is still a little spark in me that says 'it isn't right....fight!
I guess those like your ex and mine hope that we will give up. Guess we have something in common!:)0 -

It still goes on - the courts are now allowing him to drag it out again - by believing his lies which never come to fruition unless he is faced with the ultimate choice - pay or go to prison. I won't be paid by the next date, and I know it will be adjourned again - and again!!! My enforcement caseworker is furious that the Court Presenting Officer did not give any history to the court nor explain his broken agreements - and let him walk all over her - again!!! It's a long wait but one which I can't lose really, so I shall remain patient. Afterall, he is the one who has to pay and I have nothing to lose. I can't be bothered to fight any more as I have had most of it, so I just let it run its course now.
so, have i got this right??
he's coughed up 25k and you still want more??
NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.

I would comment here and say that if the law of the land says that she is entitled to more then she should get what she is entitled to.
If her ex thinks that he shouldnt be paying what she is entitled to then he should stand and fight his corner, although it does sound like he is doing/has done this and has come unstuck0 -

His liability though was £27k including penalties because he refused to pay, not that he could not pay, that he WOULD not pay.
The amount is almost irrelevant because if you took that over the lifetime of a child from 0 to 18 that comes to £125 a month (just under £40 a week) and most PWC's will tell you that does not in any way contribute to half the costs of bringing up a child :eek:Free/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0
