If you've got bad credit, why would you want to shop with a company like Studio? Are you deliberately trying to get yourself into debt?
They are expensive and have one of the worst customer accounts dept in history.
Avoid like the plague.
And no, just because you've been sent a catalogue, it doesn't mean that you have an active account. Get out whilst you can!
PS. You can use normal size fonts. Anything larger is usually deemed as shouting."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Just checked their APR - it's 44.9%
Why exactly do you want to use them?"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

Its much easier to do my shopping via a catalogue, I just dont have the time to shop juggling a family and a career, this way thay can choose what they want you see, apr sounds pretty high tho.0

Then just use normal online shopping with a normal debit card. Most big stores have online facilities and you can get discount codes for pretty much any store these days either via this site or through Hotdeals.
Sign up and click through Quidco and you'll get cashback too.
Don't be tempted to use cataplogue companies. They are overpriced, misleading and will ramp up the interest and penalty charges if you even think about being late with a payment."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."

Hi Brooke,
Like you I had pretty bad credit and in a desperate attempt to try and rebuild my credit rating I applied for an account with Studio. They accepted me despite my credit rating. What everyone says about their prices is true though a lot of the stuff is very much overpriced and their delivery charge is £5 a pop. However beggars can't be choosers and they were the only company that would touch me. In the time that I have been with them I have ordered 3 times. Each time ordering a few reduced items (normally things like wrapping paper and craft stuff) and then paying them off in full. Gradually my credit limit with them has gone up but unless you have enough self control to not go on mad shopping spree's and to rely on them for shopping which you want to pay for gradually then I really wouldn't recommend them. Also despite the fact your paying £5 for delivery they don't rush. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I bought something from them a couple of years ago - never again!
Despite paying them in time, they managed to lose the payment charged me a fee for missing the payment and whacked me with a massive APR on the supposed outstanding amount. Their customer service was useless and the matter was only resolved when I wrote them a stiffly worded letter threatening to report them to trading standards.
Just to compound matters most of the stuff they sell is overpriced tat.0
