    They must be getting desperate.
Roddick sold Body Shop to L'Oreal.
Nestlé own nearly 50% of the cosmetics company L'Oreal.
L'Oreal was subject to boycott calls from animal rights groups including PeTA because of its animal testing policy.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Nestle own 26% of L'Oreal - hardly 'nearly 50%'. However. I agree that they will need to woo customers after recent takeover . . .

This is onr of the best £5 I have ever spent. As well as my £20 of free stuff (from the £5 and £10 qualifying purchases), I must have saved a fortune in discount. Just remember to split purchases into £10 a time only. I think that is the amount you need for one stamp.More stamps = more free gifts. If you fill one card within a year you just get issued another one and then get more free gifts.

Thanks, penrhyn! Was just heading this way to add this- it took you less than 15mins to mention this. Encouraging breastfeeding is the single biggest thing we could do to keep people alive in the 'third world' (think this claim is attributed to WHO), above sanitation, etc.

Nestle regularly contravene laws and guidelines put in place to prevent companies persuading poor people to poison their babies, and deny them the necesary nutrition provided by breastfeeding- which is not a 'lifestyle choice' when you have little or no clean water. That the well travelled Roddick decided to sell out to these people is beyond me. Absolutely nutty.

They've been doing this deal for a while, I think. I believe they've been getting more desperate. My mum still buys from there.
