Found this post on HUKD thanks to Saintscouple and can't find it posted here. Use code GREATBOOK to get a free 26 small photobook delivered to a Jessops store for collection. Valid until 31/12/09 according to my welcome email. You can also use the code to get £6 off any Cewe photobooks if you want a larger one.

You need to download the software and you can alter the pages to take several photo's or 1 photo. Make sure you select 26 pages as anything over that you will pay extra for and delivery to home is extra. You can also get free 40 prints by using code WELCOME.

It is for new customers only, but if you have an account already you can just registered as a new customer anduse a different/new email address to get this freebie.

Here is the UKHD post.

  • I tried this before and I found their software really complicated. Is it just me?

I spent a happy hour or two compiling a book only to find out it was the large one... I was so pleased with it that I ordered it anyhow, the code gave me a £6 discount.

If you don't want to be tempted, make sure you select small books at the start.

I didn't find it too bad to use:

You select square and small tab at top of page and then click on cewe photo book small.

You can then select "use the assistant" or "do not use assistant" at the bottom of the page. If you select use the assistant you just drag the photos that are displayed on the left hand box side into the right hand box, press create photo book and it does the layout for you. Just make sure it says 26 pages at the top. Then just click on the basket sign at the bottom right and check out.

I prefer to select do not use assistant. Then just make sure again 26 pages is in box in the top. Then underneath you should see you photos that are in your drive. At the top you see the pages just click on each one and you just drag the photos across and drop them on the pages. If you wanted to change the page layout click on the page at the top eg. pages 1 and 2 click on layout tab on left and on the drop down box you can chooose 1 image per page, 2 etc and double click on the box displaying it underneath then drag and drop your pictures from the left hand box to the right.
