    No Lucy,

My battery was charged and i took about 4-5 pictures before the battery light came on indicating 4/5 full.

From the manual online, the M60 takes 150 minutes to charge (2 1/2 hrs)

I purchased he e75, which is a 2009 model according to the Pentax site. The M60 is a 2008 model.

The only difference i can see is that the M60 has a 5x optical zoon, when the e75 has a 3x.

I guess it means ill have to stand a little closer.. :)

Oh, on another side of things.

I noticed that the front of the lens, the plate with the wording on it was a little unstuck. Im unsure if this is because my 2yr old has been playing with it, or it was part of the repair.

Either way, were still happy and have made an offer on eBay for a 4GB SDHC Memory card for £5 delivered.

Should be good for 400+ pictures.

Okies....some memory cards...cheaper than prices elsewhere..

2 Auctions for 4GB SDHC Cards, both ive made offers on and ive had a few replies.

    Auction 1

This auction is for a standard 4GB SDHC card, its Class 2, so normal speed. The auction is for £6.50. I offered £5.00 (free delivery) and the offer was accepted. The card says multi-use. So i expect it to run a little slow between pictures.

    Auction 2

This auction is a for a 4GB SDHC Class 6 card, this means that the camera should save pictures faster to the memory card, allowing faster pictures to be taken. I cant find what class the camera works at, as this would be the fastest it can run at, so might be no point with a Class 4 or 6, if it works at Class 2 only.

    I offered him £8.00, he counter-offered £9.99

If you are after cheap SD(HC) card then play have 2gig cards (Sandisk for £5) 4g £6.69 (play own brand), 8 gig £9.99 and 16g £16.99 all inc p&p and no VAT as they are based in the channel islands.

Play sell branded stuff, with great returns I think quidco also offer cashback etc.

With the low end older model digital camera the faster memory does not make much difference as the chipsets cannot write to SD so fast. The expensive copacts and SLRs with raw etc can make better use of the faster SD(HC) card.

Also worth checking memorybits, 7dayshop and ebuyer for offers.

Worth speed testing your memory, often items on ebay are not as fast as rated :)

I dont know why you would want to direct people to pay the same price (£5.00) for a 2GB SD card, when for £5.00 you can have a 4GB SDHC Card.

SD Cards usually range to 2GB, then anything above that its SDHC.

I know the camera i have says SDHC on the side of the battery cover, so im pretty safe to go with one of these.

For more info on SD Cards, and the history. Take a look at this link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital

    4GB SDHC card arrived.

With it set on 10MP it can take over 1000 pictures, and waits about 1.5 secs before it can take the next picture. So not too bad.

The card i received was Class 2.

Someone else posted that SD Cards were £5.00 in morrisons on another thread.
