Hi! THe holiday was nice, although i wouldn;t go to Dubai again, but it was lovely to get away. I still feel a bit sick that it cost me £600 in total though. That feels so much money to waste on a holiday.
I do have a new budget, although haven;t had time to post it. Basically I have relaxed a bit on cash for spending because I do often need to buy food on the way home (the other night I didn;t get home from work till gone 11pm, having left the house at 7.20am, so my lunch didn;t last me!)
I still have no idea how long I have this job for, so you were all right that I needed to not relax too much!
What I really want is to have enough in the bank to cover the car loan, and if I lose the job then at least I know that's covered. Then I want to build up cash for all the annual bills to cover next year, and then as proper savings (never really had any before). I have a million ING accounts all for different things like tax, annual bills, etc., and I am stocking them up slowly.
I find it so hard to believe that when I came on here only last August I was depressed, weepy and couldn;t see a way forward, and now i have a job paying loads of money, great MSE friends, and am almost debt-free! It's a complete change and I feel so free as a result.
This really is such a great site, and I love this board more than any other.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
