Make sure you read T&C in full before booking i.e The makeover photoshoot for two. A bargain at only £5 not! Look at the T&c's
Your voucher is valid for 10 months for TWO people. This experience is suitable for two people over 18 years of age. You are required to pay a £1 non-refundable deposit when making a booking. Appointments can be changed free of charge within 7 days of receiving confirmation of your initial booking. After this 7 day period amendments are subject to a £10 per appointment administration fee. If you arrive more than 20 minutes after your booked ‘arrival time' your appointment may be cancelled and a no-show charge would apply. A no-show charge is applicable if you do not complete the full ‘experience' (including makeup/photography and viewing sessions) on the day of your appointment. you have to pay 45 quid for the photoshoot if you read t&C
Where does it say that?Make sure you read T&C in full before booking i.e The makeover photoshoot for two. A bargain at only £5 not! Look at the T&c's

From what you've quoted, it's still £5 as long as you stick to your booked appointment, no?0 -
Yes, where does it say that about the photoshoot being £45. I can't see it on the family one.0

I was going to get the paintball one on the free News of the world offer at the weekend. But no paintballs are included the only bit you get free protective clothing and paintball gun. Which at most places is included in with your first set of 100 balls any way.:j0

The T&Cs on Family Photoshoot mention a 5 pound charge for Recorded Delivery of the photo in some locations (not all) and 20 pound refundable deposit. The only other charge mentioned is 20 pounds to change the original date of the booking ... yes that adds up to 45 pounds BUT most (possibly all) of that is avoidable.
I think it's a good gift for a fiver - I'd be happy to get it and go for it, and I would think of it costing more valuewise. Yes you "only" get one photo for that but if it is lovely it is worth it as a gift. If there were other photos I liked I would think about buying them but you don't have to! My local photographer would charge a minimum of 50 pounds for a family sitting plus cost of photos0 -
You don't HAVE to buy the photos, but I would warn people that once you've had professional make up, hair, lighting and photography done, that they will probably be the best ones you've ever seen.
Not trying to slate the experience, but just making people aware that there will be a temptation to buy.
I went to new Id in Cardiff last year.
Full prices are £50 for a print and £100 for one cd photo.
I got 5 on CD for £200, so roughly half price plus the free one.0 -
I was going to get the family photo shoot but decided against it as they don't list where the studios are. It's ok saying there are over 100 studios that will take these vouchers but when I looked at one on 'last minute' my 'local' studio would have been Birmingham!!0

Looks like all of the £5 ones are Timeshare style - you can get the basics cheap if you can avoid giving in to the hard sell. Paintballing is normally very cheap as the paintballs are very expensive. Photo, fashion and hair = lots of pressure for extras. Trial gym = lots of phonecalls pestering you to join. A couple of the more expensive ones seem quite cheap like indoor skydiving but the cheaper ones are going to be very heavy on the hard sell.0

Have you done any of the cheaper ones then, is that the case?0
