i need a new electric cooker

My cooker has finally given up and it isn't worth fixing since it's mostly held together with brown tape, lol

I found one a new one i like in Argos which is £359 (beko DVC665) but after looking at Kelkoo it is £315 delivered from somewhere else. I only ever use argos but am i safe to buy from elsewhere if i use my credit card?? I always worry about what to do if it breaks down, or turns up bashed. I have always been happy with the way Argos deal with any problems.

The shop at Kelkoo has 4 out of 5 stars. Is it just pot luck? some shops are good for some people but bad for others??
wouldn't it be nice if i won : car/cash/family holiday :)

:j I am a winner! :j

In february i bought a Zanussi cooker. I found it in Currys/Comet for nearly £600. I came on here found discount codes and purchased it from Dixons online for £357 delivered.

The doors broke on it in July and as i had sent of the registration form with the guarantee i contacted zanussi/electrolux and they arranged for an engineer to come out and it was dealt with direct. Most stores wont want to know about repairs after the 28 day period and redirect you to the manufacturer anyway.

  • I found £315.97 as the cheapest price from Appliances Direct i think, there were vouchers @ 5% but not for the brand and model of that cooker you were looking for

  • Yeah i've used them before a couple of times. No problems with them they are a genuine merchant just an online only one.

There's a website I use which shows me the lowest prices for these items, similar to kelkoo, but shows available vouchers as well which is quite handy. Don't know if i'm allowed to post the site haven't checked the forum rules!? Do you know if I can?!
