Halifax staff pension

Hello, I was with the halifax for about 13 years and had a staff pension. I haven't worked for them for about 3 years and every so often get pension letters from them. I no longer pay into the pension and was wondering if anyone know if I can either cash the whole pension in or able to cash part of it in.

You cannot cash pensions in unless you are aged over 60 and have less than 1% of the pension lifetime allowance (value of £17,500). If you are aged over 50 (55 from next year) then you have a few options depending on the type of pension.

Otherwise you cant touch it until you retire. Which is the point of a pension after all.
