2 x 4 Pack for £2 in Gloucester today
Yippee!! I don't have beans very often - but nice to have in the cupboard for beans on toast!!

Well...my wife has just returned from ASDA Boston where they only had 2 x 4 packs for £4.00. When queried in store she was told that they had no control over what the website priced goods at.

When I phone customer service at their head office I was told that only certain stores had the 2 x 4 for £2 and this was because those stores had surplus stock so were selling them off to clear space.

I pointed out that if I ordered them online my local store would pick the goods off their shelves and I would get them for £2 which they agreed I could do but they didn't seem to see the contradiction.

I am awaiting an e mail from the supervisor at customer services explaining the situation in full.

"Bargain Beans for Boston"...& Birmingham, Brighton, Braintree, Basildon etc

Went to ASDA MK last night and not even a 2x4 for £4! Don't ASDA realise they shoot themselves in the foot when they mess us about like this?

Just spotted Netto have Heinz Beans for 40p from Monday 7th. Not as good as the original ASDA offer but better than their current one.

Asda 2for£2 offer is still on in Leicester - got them in my delivery this morning

And the single tins are 3for£1 at Asda until the 8th, or Branston 30p each at Tesco until the 6th
