  • Sorry guys, I tried! Looked at the edition on sale in my local supermarket (December), but couldn't see these comps  unless I'm going mad

Certainly no bomber jacket, and I saw ones I remember from last month (stagg wheel covers, astonish car cleaning kit etc). Not sure what's going on

Maybe someone else can take a look. I'll stick to what I know best...cooking and baby mags ;)

Pretty sure these would be in the January edition, which possibly isn't out yet? What do you think? As you had a good looksie missielizzie and it was the December issue still out, I say we wait a while and see when the next issue appears, these don't close for quite a while so we should be safe!
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

Hi, Thanks D130. Excuse my ignorance, but who is/are Oxford services? :o :rotfl:

Also, just wanted to check, but if these are for Jan edition which is not out yet, won't they wonder how we all know the answer?

The services just outside of Oxford, where DH& I stopped for a rest on the way to Heathrow, and I found the magazine today. :) I double checked and it was definitely the right edition, but I'm not sure why it was put out so early.

I checked the December edition this week and the issue date for January was yesterday!
Note that lots of monthly mags, especially computer mags, seem to come out very early. It is the result of competing magazines publishing earlier and earlier - they want to have the latest issue date on the news stand (punters will buy the latest one). An article written in October can appear in the January edition - which makes "news" sections interesting!

I can't understand why the need to put thing out dated 2 months ahead of where we really are...talk about wishing your life away.

Thanks for checking the answer, I'll go ahead and enter them all now :D
