I took my DD to Aquamarine on Sunday at the Quays cinema- when we got there the man said there was hardly anyone there so we could all go in -so 6 instead of 2-it was a good film.
point is-as it happens both my dd and I had tried for tickets seperately-me first as got it on MSE -dd in a mag so later-she couldn't get any. So I'm thinking it might be worth just going down there again this Sunday morning to see?-me thinks people get the tickets and then don't get out of bed!
PS-it really was empty -about 20 people
I had very much the same experience on Sunday. Took kids to Aquamarine, and we were in one of the smaller screens, and was about a third empty. Having tried numerous times to get tickets to these things in the past, I couln't help thinking how many people would have made full use of these tickets if they had been given the chance.
So if you are lucky enough to get these 'Just my Luck' tickets, and then decide you cannot make it ( having suddenly realised there is such a thing as Sunday mornings) perhaps they could offer them to other MSE's
In my case the print outs were 'checked', but wasn't asked to prove we were the people named on the ticket0 -
Lea Valley has no tickets but thanks for the link anyway.0

Yes, I totally agree with you, The Old Bag (I feel rude calling you that
).
We saw Aquamarine on Sunday and there were only about 15 people in the whole cinema, which was odd as it had been impossible to get more tickets - according to the website the screening was completely full.
If any of you lucky people:j who managed to get tickets for Just My Luck and now do not plan on attending the screening for whatever reasons, pass on those tickets to other MSE's who are desperate to watch it (desperate for mcfly? ugh :rotfl: ), that would totally rock and would be completely in the spirit of MSE. Of course, this goes for any other screening/show/etc (especially any movies starring Ewan Mcgregor coz I LURVE HIM :rotfl:
:rotfl: - kidding )
Cheers :j:j Please blow me a kiss if I have helped you.:j :j
