What make & model is the one you've found? I can then look it up on which to see what they say.0

I think you may find for that sort of price it will only be a 3kg load and so you will not get a lot in it to dry and it is so much easier to overload.
If you have an Apollo 2000 near you they currently have the larger 7kg one for £125.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

asda has a white knight for £99.something it was on the shelves, small and compact, 3kg cant remember the model. They had 4 when i went there the other day at my local.
note to stef, my mum had a 3kg dryer for 25years, ok she had 2 of them, used it everyday, and we had plenty of washing going through it.0 -

I bought a 7kg load one from asda for £110. no delivery charge as it went in the car boot. Try going into currys/comet etc rather than lookin online as th
ey may have deals on if its 'off the shelf' on the day0 -
Which rate the Beko DRVS62w (£130) the highest under £150 with 61%. White Knight 44AW at 55% (£139). The 2 White Knight models you looked at are probably the 38AW (£113) & CL3A 3kg load (£95) both rated with 44% the main reason was they took longer to dry than the other models. It says that the CL3A took 2 times longer per kilogram to dry than any other model they tested.
Hope this helps.0 -
I have the 44aw and i spoke to an engineer who was here a couple of weeks ago and he said in his experience they have had fewer repairs to do on it compared to others in the same price bracket. It is slightly noisier to operate than some. The engineer said it is a Whirpool generic and the thermostats are harder to wear out than on other models.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
