8" Digital Photo Frame Hi Res 800x480 screens for under £40

Hi all

been looking for the above for a few weeks for a Christmas present and after exhaustive research, I have now 2 8" frames weighing in at £40

Borth items are from Play.com

The first, is a Coby DP 800 which costs £34.99 (don't forget Quidco for an extra 0.5% off ) Normal price is £79.99

The second one, Linx Memoire 8" Designer, is £39.99

Whilst I cannot vocuh for the quality of the Coby frame, the reviews of the Linx version at Amazon (click here for reviews) seems very reasonable

Sorry, I didn't stress enough in my original post that the image resolution on both of these (800 x 4880) is excellent, as per this article on how to buy the best digital frame (thanks to Lugh_Chronain for posting the link to this elsewhere in the forum a couple of days ago)

This is my first post so sorry if it breaks any of the rules!
It's not quite as high a resolution (800 x 600) but there is one at Comet that has a brilliant picture quality and because it's from a high street shop you can actually see what it's like first (I'm still a little wary about buying gifts online)
Apparently because I'm a newbie I can't post links but it's Proline PL-DPF 805B and it's black and shiny!

Just to advise, mine arrived earlier this week, had to wait 5 days for delivery, but it really is a quality item, and, as they say, every inch helps!

Price has gone up to £39.99 on the Play website, but I feel this is excellent value for a Hi Def screen

i.e linx one is now 34.99
