Well I never had loads of debt in the first place but I have also managed to do it without sacrificing too much (which was how I wanted) so its taken me 6 years but I am nearly there...
(still got my student loan but currently its a 0% interest and it comes off before tax so I'm counting it as a mortgage kind of thing rather than 'consumer' debt)

Well done Becky!
My car's booked in for 1.00, so I don't get out of taking sister to Skeggy, so today I will be resting up for that. Also waiting for lots of deliveries (hotel chocolat, graze, and a throw I ordered from M&S for £7.41 delivered plus cashback! My book people order should be here soon too).Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Bookie - The flower pot decoration sounds lovely - hope they've got some.
Suzy - Have you looked on ebay for the perfume?
SIL sent a rather nice cheque for xmas pressies for DD's so have just ordered DD2 a new phone from orange, they're doing a christmas gift box of goodies including headphones for any phone over £30. Need to order DD1 an i-tunes voucher but not sure if there's a MSE way of doing so - want to maximise cashback/discount if possible....any ideas?

morning chums....
don't come too close, i have got the DFW cold that's been doing the rounds.... i seriously contemplated having a sickie today, but it's payroll entry day and if i didn't do it, it mightn't get done... and the implications are obviously massive... altho i don't think there are many here who actually need their wages come payday... apart from maybe me!
i am skinter than a skinty thing from skintsville... but it's 2 days til payday, so that's fairynuff....
my leggies are sore today after my cross country race yesterday, coupled with this cold i think...
reckon i can swing an early finish if i cough and sniff enough.
Where are my manners!?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDALOO!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Brilliant news Becky - well done!
Happy Birthday Linda - Have a good day!
Hope everyone else is well and had a good weekend. Nice and sunny here in Suffolk at the moment, but I don't think that will last somehow! Probably at about 1pm (my lunchtime) it'll chuck it down!
Had a good weekend - got some Xmas presents and lots of ideas for other presents, so hopefully Xmas will be 'wrapped up' soon!!
Have left DH at home cooking the Xmas puds in the slow cooker - and guess where he got the idea for using the slow cooker? That's right - here on MSE! He'd never looked on here before, but he may have been converted!
