I did all the passing on stuff to CCCs , but today i came home from Nightshift to find a postcard from NCO saying that they are sending a represenative to my home this Tuesday. !! have been sick with worry all day , have called them around 5,6 times they just keep cutting me off , or transfering me then hanging up, Thought all this was behind me !! Have written to CCCs but not sure they can talk to them or not !!

they are using pschology to frighten you into paying more than you can afford.
debt collectors at the door have absolutely no power to do anything , they are not bailiffs and you can tell them to just go away.

if they do come to your door, dont open it and tell them you will only deal with them via CCCS and anyway only in writing. do not be tempted to pay them anything and dont enter into any discussion....
if you read this board you'll find this is fairly typical of MBNA but they usually come to an agreement with CCCS eventually.

I basically was just gonna say what Clapton has.

They have no power to take anything, they can't make you sign or agree to anything, they can't legally enter your house.

Just think of them as salespersons. Just politely tell them to leave you alone and go through the CCCS. Give them your personal id/reference number and job done! :D
