Tracking fixed rate percentages over time?

Are there are websites that track fixed rate mortgage deals that can show you a history over time what deals have been offered?

It would be interesting to see the trends of 2, 3 and 5yr fixed rates in the past to see how the banks perception of the future has changed over time.

The FSA have their own comparison site. Perhaps you can enquire there.

A good independent Mortgage Adviser may retain historical rates from different lenders.

This link to UK Swap Rates helps you to get a better understanding of the costs of wholesale funds over the past 12 months and how they change day to day.

While not directly leading you to an answer, it could help build up part of the picture, so hope it helps.
