Ok so my new debt free date is jun 2012 - I need to do a lot of work maybe looking for a lower rate credit cardf and balance transfering. That is with payingthe minimum paymenst til 2010 until £200 is freed up to through at them - so if I can make that £200 a month in savings ( which means £400 in reality as my SOA says I overspend by £200) it will come down a lot quicker.

We also need to make some cash to throw at it - we have decided to sell and move to a cheaper area - nearer school so will save on petrol etc - which will be good. We could then maybe see if we can throw some of the money we have made on this house on our debts.

I need to see if the mortgage would be ok at transfering to a different house - without big charges or I have heardthat some mortgage people want you so much they will pay your lock in fee for you??!!

Its all a big shcok and we need to change spending habit drastically.

I rang citi card and they did not want to lower my interest rate so that is the main one I want to balance transfer out.
Ebay and carboots here we come.

Thanks again for everyones insparation - I feel quite upbeat but also very scared.
