Yes. Unfortunately.
And of course its probably a tactic as they know full well i have two loans with them.
I am definitely going to write and ask them to remove my telepone number from their records.
Thanks everyone for your kind replies.(c) Broke in Yorkshire. ( there are worse places )

Hi again
I'm still confused! If it's your loan account, how come they are ringing you re the loan account? What answer do they give for this?

Basically they are saying that the CCCS are using an account number and sort code when they should be using a roll number. Or it could be vice versa.
CCCS say they always use sort code and account number as not all accounts have roll numbers and it goes back to when the Halifax was a Building Society.
Its just so farcical and its really getting to me.
In reply to a previous poster. MY GP has been very supportive and has organised some counselling for me which is great because i don't want my family knowing about this!(c) Broke in Yorkshire. ( there are worse places )

If so, I doubt CCCS with be able to comply with there request.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
For halifax debts CCCS need a roll number, and the a/c no and s/c regardless that you work for Halifax or not. Don't talk to Halifax, communicate only in writing.0

They just keep sending me the same letter saying the same thing which says " the Halifax say they have no record of the account "
They have had all relevant docs but are saying they have not been received.
I suppose they COULD be taking a harder line because i am a colleague but whenever i speak to then they don't seem to have a clue that i am a colleague at all.
Its just a vicious circle and i am definitely veering towards dealing with the company myself. At least then they can't say they have no record of the loan!
Sorry if I'm confusing the situation, but if Halifax are saying that they have no record of your account then the debt is unenforceable, and you don't need to pay anything to it if you don't want too - it'll come off your credit report after 6 years.
You could always send the telephone harrassment letter to stop the phone calls, you can't stop the letter but I've alway found it easier to deal with letters than the phone calls.
Keep your chin up, you'll get through this.
LGetting there, slowly but I WILL be debt free before I retire :dance:0
