Do you know a good source of money off coupons?

I was talking to a lady at customer services in Asda today who said that Asda only take money off total spend coupons and not the ones issued by Sainsburys or other stores for particular items, seems a bit pedantic to me but I suppose they have good reason. They also take manufacturers coupons.

I was wondering if there is a good source of money off coupons in one place (not internet coupons) that people could share. Or is it a case of hunting down 20p coupons in newspapers etc?!

  • Certain companies (particularly baby food/nappy/sanitary wear manufacturers) often send you coupons when you register with them. A number of the freebies I've received from the freebies board have also had coupons enclosed _ received some from ecover and yorkshire tea yesterday. I usually send off for these freebies for friends and relatives too, and get them to collect coupons in exchange.
Otherwise, just keep your eyes peeled!
    Happy hunting!

It is a case of keeping your eyes peeled really. M.S.E. doesn't have a dedicated instore voucher section (more's the pity...hint, hint!!), but Bobs Freestuff voucher forum is a good source of info.

Some papers sometimes have money-off coupons for magazines. Daily Mail in particular springs to mind: last week, in several issues, there was a £2 off Zest mag, which both Asda and Tesco took ;D

Thanks, I meant in my original post was there one place to get lots of vouchers rather than collect individual ones here or there for 30p each etc. I didnt know if I was missing out on something.

I have been using the Sainsburys ones that are valid until Jan 15th but they have stopped taking them in both the Tesco and Asda that I use. (Can manage to squeeze a few through if you pick the right cashier, but the full time cashiers wont let them through.)

tiff, rpoints has a good coupon forum too.
  • I get about 70% of my coupons when i visit the Doctor, just have a search through the leaflets in the racks. The last leaflets i got were £1 off Gaviscon and i managed to lift over 30 of these. Mind you, you do get some funny looks when you gather all the leaflets people think you have got every condition going.
