Hi
I might be being a bit blonde but just wanted some advise.
My fixed rate is about to expire and i have the option to take a new mortgage with a fixed rate. I like the offer the company have but i want to change my mortgage terms by reducing the number of years i have left to pay and by changing it to a repayment rather than an interest free mortgage.
I expected the company to send me a quote for the new terms and new rate so i could consider them but they said i have to change the terms and wait to see if they are accepted and then apply for the new rate. Does that sound right??

If you have flexible overpayments then the term will look after itself. The full term is often a worst case exaple of the situation.
