Grr. The problem with my car lights is that the bulbs have gone so I need to go to halfords and buy more, and hope I can fit them myself as they charge a tenner. Of course, if I could leave it a few days, since it's a motability car, I could get it done free. But it HAS to be tonight because I HAVE to take sister to Skeggy monday night. And I don't have enough money in my account, I know that's what an emergency fund's for, but mine's in the credit union. So I'm going to have to rob peter to pay paul until tomorrow when I can get to the CU and put the money back into my account.
I REALLY hope bulbs are easy to fit.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
I had to go and try the car again this morning so out in my dressing gown I go and the flaming thing starts first time (in a flurry of black smoke from the attempted starts yesterday).......bloody typical but I guess its one less thing to worry about tomorrow:D

Are there no spares in the boot?I REALLY hope bulbs are easy to fit.
Sometimes they're easy. Sometimes they are a nightmare. Make sure your hands are warm and supple."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

following on from my sister setting up an Amazon wish list for her and my niece for Xmas and birthdays now they are in Canada, I thought I'd do one - it's really hard to think of what to put on it!! I've managed some fancy shower gel, chocolates, a posh le creuset dish (fantasy time with the cost!) and some garden shears with telescopic handles - and I hate gardening
So, I decided to click on what they have recommended for me going on what I've bought/viewed in the past/what they think they know about me.

No spares in the boot. My hands are never supple! Anyway, I'm going to try and change them in Halfords' car park, if I can't manage it then I'll have to pay the tenner for them to do it. Will I need screwdrivers and stuff to get the casing off?Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
