If it is a petrol car, it may just be the spark plug leads.

I remember once OH drove through a large puddle and it did the same thing, turning over but not starting and it had to be re-set on some computer, cost about £75:mad:

  • Lou - try a can of wet start. My Carlton only had to feel a spot of rain on the windscreen and wouldn't start.

Z, if only it were that simple. I'll have to drive her to Skeggy at some point, I suggested during the day on Monday, that was what she couldn't get her head around.

Anyone would think she was doing me a favour!

I think we tried that last time but its as though once it has decided not to start then it has to be re-set. OH will have to sort it out when he comes home tomorrow.

Only 10% of the time, 90% of the time you look gorgeous...very photogenic!

Spudly, I am dithering about going to Scotland......but if I do go you could stay with me, but I just can't say yes or no to going at the minute....mood and money play a part! and logistics of getting there

If you look, you'll find you don't *have* to do anything. You are doing her a *favour*.

If she can't her head round the concept of "Daytime Monday", then you could try her with the easier concept of "Bus".

Do you press the accelerator when trying to start it?
