Do you know that buying from Viking Direct is more expensive than buying direct from them via phone call or even via post? I ordered approx. £35.00 (inc. vat) worth of goods for the company, got myself a free CD player as well as a box of free chocky. If I order from Viking Direct online it will cost me double the amount & only I free gift! So beware!!! If you need their telephone number (its a 0800 number) let me know & I will post it here again (tomorrow asap). You can pay via cheque or credit card. Order less than £30.00 will incur a dely charge.0

thanks to all
I actually rang and placed order got free chocs - got a promo from a leaflet they sent. The price on web site was more expensive if only by a few pounds
Thanks for the infor re placeing over phone Ill remember that one. Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T0 -
Its actually alot more than that. For example :-
Viking A4 160 Sheet Wirebound Manuscript Book
Viking Number: Q26-VKM160 Unit: Each
List Price £6.60 Viking Price £4.19
By ordering thru' phonecall it only cost me :-
Code Y24-VKM160 @ £2.99
So you see I save the company £1.20 x 6 books.
The number to call is : 0800 424 444
Be a little bit cheeky, if you sweet talk & be nice to the customer service you will normally get 2 free gifts - I always do....0 -
You can order from the catalogues on the website too by entering the item codes - as you say, different prefixes come up with different prices when you order.
I always go through all the catalogues I have to find the cheapest price for an item before committing to it. Just got a voucher through the post for £20 off when I spend £100+VAT, but no voucher code, have to ring the order in and the discount is automatically applied...0 -
I've not had a catalogue through the door for a while now. Does anyone one know the current free gift?
thanks0 -
Received a voucher through the post this morning, spend £100+ and get £20 off. but you need to order before 28 june 2006. Anyone that wants it PM me and i'll send it u.
I've found that Viking can be quite expensive on somethings, I tend to use Neat Ideas.0
