Wanted The Cheapest Cross cut Shredder
Comments
-
I too remember reading a positive review of the Woolies cross cut shredder a few months ago.
Think I'll take the plunge with it myself this w/end.0 -
The shredder that is currently reduced in price to £14.99 at Woolies was £29.99 and is the one recommended as a best buy by Which (level 3, cross cut shredder). There's no woman sicker than the woman who is sick on her day off !0

The £15 WH Smith one is a Level 4 shredder. I think that means it can do credit cards as well.
Level 4 is the highest anyway.
Level 1 is the lowest and means "put whole pieces of paper in your dustbin"British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Woolies one can do credit cards as well.
The Smiths ones is apparently not a "true" level 4 one anyway, more like level 3 (is to do with the size of the bits)0 -
Hey Spudgunner is it the cheaper one or the £30er that will do CC's?
Thanks!Tips are good, tips are good, you know that tips are good!0 -
Woolies also do a manual cross cut shredder - can handle ccards, Cds, etc. for £7.99
It's smaller - easier to store - and has a see through bin. Ideal if you don't have much space and/or only a few items to shred. Gives you some exercise as well!!
LGI'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0 -

I think it said £14.99, save £20!
I'm also pretty sure it mentioned a slot for shredding credit cards.
Just hope they actually get some stock in on 6th!0 -
I got this one from Argos a few weeks ago - its half price in the clearance sale so you'd have to see if you could find one in a store near you or not ...

It takes 7 sheets at a time, credit cards, staples even paper clips , I think its great and the bin is quite big too.0
