Tesco football gamecard: money-off vouchers and freebies!

This is a stupid contest since you can see through it. You don't think the good prizes are going to be spotted by someone in Tescos before they are given to a random customer? It's too easy for someone to see the winners, that I think the cars and top prizes are going to be held back by people from the source.

Maybe I'm too skeptical

It's meant to be a bit of fun. The aim was to try and include those who hate football - as they were aware that there would be those who love and those who hate football shopping in the store.
I cant see how any customer would lose out by this, as if they were going to spend £10 in store anyway its just an added bonus.

Some do definately contain big prizes as we have signs up telling staff to not let the customers help themselves as some are worth alot of money.
Chances are you wont win, but if you do your shopping there any way its just a bit of fun.

Also if staff were caught peeking through all of them they would most likely get in big trouble.

Its through Tesco downloads, but I've ended up emailing them as I can't get to grips with how to enter the promotion code....

I have 2 of these gamecards and won discounts off crisps and snack bars, I did however open both sides, so will just stick one down and see if they are accepted. Saw lots of them at the till when I went on my 2nd visit to Tescos today as I was packing my items away, they all had been opened and discarded.

Well, apart from wombling around the trolleys to check for receipts with points on maybe now I should be checking for gamecards too ! well, every little helps doesn't it !

Me too welshy! I picked up a couple of receipts this week that are so tyre-marked that I don't quite know how I'm going to explain them away at Tesco cs to get the points put on my card....

Also found till-spit extra points coupons on the ground this week for Pampers nappies and catfood (I don't have a cat or a baby)! Might sell them on eBay..

Got my first of these gamecards today but had to ask for them! (2 visits so 2 cards). Gave OH specific instructions about holding them up to the light first - wow they are so see-thru! Got money-off coupons so I was happy of course (but I suspect you have to actually buy the items as they are Tesco-issued)!

great minds think alike coupon-mad !! I have just sold some of my unwanted Tesco vouchers on ebay. I have 4 clubcards so receive 3 mailings at home on each club that means I have lots of lovely vouchers and extra points, however there are some I do not use for instance with the latest toddler and child mailing, they sold for £10 which was great as I do not have a child in nappies and the voucher do not bear my name or clubcard number. I also find my unwanted till spills sell well too.

I'm looking forward to finding more receipts which should be nice and crisp and dry in this hot weather, finding more discarded gamecards, oh and doing my bit for the environment by ensuring Tesco remains a litter free zone !

I too won 5 free DVD rentals from tesco.com/downloads but will never use the code CUP6 as I did not want to sign up to so much a month
