Over £100 at a lot of places. £144.99 at Argos:eek:0 -
We bought one of these to use while our kitchen was being refitted. An absolutely superb bit of kit, built like a tank and very effective. We've lent it out to a few people since for the same use and they love it too.
However, if you plug it into a normal 13a plug you can't have both hotplates and the oven on all together as it blows the fuses. It can be either of the hotplates with the oven, or both hotplates without the oven.
That's not a fault of this appliance -- just the physics of the electricity supply.0 -
Yep, the instructions confirm that only the small hotplate can be used if the oven is being used too.0

I really wouldn't buy from Scotts of Stow. You'll be lucky if you get your item at all. They have a 28 day delivery policy as standard, but you most likely won't get your order before that time and they are horribly disorganised. Customer services are understaffed and under trained, and can't help you with queries. Just look at the reviews on the Internet - so many people complain about them - poor delivery, wrongly charged, received faulty items. In my experience it's not unusual to be charged the wrong amount or double charged. Plus, they nearly killed an old lady with a hob cover they used to sell that gave off carbon monoxide during normal use. As other retailers sell this cooker, I assume it's ok. But I would buy it elsewhere and save the hassle, because if anything goes wrong you're going to have a long battle on your hands.0
