Does anyone have experience in obtaining a mortgage with a default registered against them? Mine is four years old but hasn't been settled.
If so how did you go about it?

default is for £3000, four years old but not settled. One other settled default for £250, they are the two records on my credit report apart from my bank account which is all good, my wife andI have been looking at properties at around £170'000. My wife has an excellent credit histoy and we have a joint salary of £40'000 PA.
Is the door completely shut due to the fact I have a default registered?0 -
