Hi all,
I am on the hunt for asda quick cook pasta, they used to sell bags of dry pasta penne and spirals in clear packets with red labels, local asda stores (in essex) now only stock the blue labelled packets (which currently on offer is you buy 2) with takes 12-15 minutes, I have totally run out of quick cook and was wondering if anyone else buys it or buys another quick cook dry pasta? as I've looked in tesco and morrisons and the pastas all take 15 minutes. Thanks

We use fresh pasta, it only takes aubot 5 minutes to cook, keeps for weeks in the fridge, or months in the freezer. It costs a bit more, but is better imho.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I'd take no notice of cooking times on the packets of pasta, if I cooked mine for 15 mins it would be mush:eek: Just keep checking a peice after about 5 mins.2011 Sealed Pot Challenge #1238 hoping for £250 ~ saved £743.32
