M&S Deal of Day - Sony KDL37W5500 £679

Hi don't think this has been posted yet. Just bought one on behalf of my Mum. Final price was even cheaper due to VAT decrease (I think total was £659).
These are great TVs, we have the 40 inch and it's superb. Been on lookout for this on good deal for a while. Asda had fab deal while back but sold out so quickly. M&S comes with 5 year guarantee too!!:beer:

Great price but the JL and M&S 5 year guarantee on big screen Sonys is actually only 2 years extra, not the usual 4 on account of the standard 3 year warranty granted by Sony.

I helped my mate get a great deal on the 40" version of this TV from Comet of all places a couple of weeks ago. At the time they were giving away the Sony blu-ray player with the TV in addition to the £100 trade-in. Got him 3.5% TCB cashback and he paid £724 net. The £100 trade-in is still available but unfortunately they have withdrawn the free blu-ray player offer. Maybe an idea to keep checking to see if it returns?
