Argos are selling the Nokia 6610i ( O2 network) for £64.95. Marked as half price but most stores sell for £90, so a £25 saving.

I can email you software to unlock it to your own sim

Selling on ebay for £75 upwards to £90 so might be a small profit here.

Argos will only sell you 2 phones.

For those who are after a 6610i: there is an Orange version of this phone that is in much more plentiful stock than the O2 version. Have mine on reserve

Also, for the phone unlocking, a simple google search yields free software applications such as this. (I've not tried this one yet, but it seems similar to other unlocking code generators I've used in the past...)

I went out and got one for my eldest daughter after she saw one being advertised for sale in Comet at £80. A good job that I did not get it there and then!

As for unlocking, the site quoted on the link worked well for me. It's relatively easy to follow and have now unlocked my Nokia 6600 from the Orange network so that i can use a dual sim card holder with an O2 card as well.

Hi, I got myself one of these from Tamworth where they had a few on Sunday.

I unlocked it quite successfully with the number 7 code from here for free. Please note that this does not remove the O2 branding (which I don't fine offensive), but you can use ANY sim. Follow the directions on the site, but I promise you if I can do it, so can you.
