Where do I send my completed R40 to?

Hi there, I have finally got my P60 from my employer and I am due a tax refund. I have filled in the R40 form which I downloaded but now I'm not sure where I send it!
On the form it doesn't really say who to send it to. On my P60 it states Inland Revenue Office Name: Centre 1 TSO, I have looked up the address for this and it is in Glasgow!
So should I send it to Glasgow or to my local Tax office in Stockport.
I don't want to send it to the wrong place and it take even longer to get my money back. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Send it to your local tax office, they can sort it out for you.
Glasgow Cumbernauld is the centralised office for sending out tax returns etc etcI no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
