Im really hoping to make homemade jams and marmlade to give in pretty jars as gifts for christmas...
Can anyone point me in the direction of the threads for this, as im sure there are mny but i cant seem to find them

If you want to make traditional bitter marmalade then you'll need Seville oranges which are only available in January/February. You can however use a tin of Mamade which you will find with the jars of marmalade in the supermarket. It is shredded Seville oranges and is really easy to use.
If you are intending to make jam from berries such as strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, currants then you'll have to rely on expensive imported fruit or frozen fruit.0
