Telling CC & DC Companies About BR
Dawlish
I have stopped all payments to cc & dc companies to help pay for my BR on 21 Jan 2010.
They have started with there phone call and letters.
Is it better to tell them about BR date or will the phone calls/hassel get worse.
Many Thanks

No, don't tell them about your BR plans as they may step up their debt recover and cause you more hassle. They probably won't believe you either.

i just stalled them any way possible, said i'd ring them etc0 -
We were advised not to tell the companies you are going bankrupt. I know it is difficult as we had to stop paying our creditors to pay for our bankruptcy.
Wait until you have your bankruptcy number to give them
Good Luck

I told them but it was a waste of time and money, they just keep calling and sending the letters regardless.:pB&SC No. 298
