I was up at 6am to try and get a cheap room and the day I was looking for is a Saturday and the rooms are still full price £71. They could have discounted them a bit surely. I was so annoyed after getting up so early.
  • Luckily I only needed mid-week and saw loads at £9. I am a happy bunny!

I'm off to the Brighton seafront Travelodge in June for £22, not bad and the weather might be wonderful, couldn't find one for £9 but can't complain about £22...

Thanks! Been meaning to go to Brighton for ages and thanks to your post, I've now booked 3 nights in March. Ok, it'll probably be cold, but that's fine. :j

Was looking at getting a room in Liverpool Central for the 28th March last week at £32. Got it for £19 this morning, perfect, now sorted for the Diversity concert that we got tickets for as a birthday present for oh daughter, saves trying to get back after the concert.
    Thank you!!

I'm hoping to book a mid week break in London at Easter half term (if there's any left) but wondering which hotel is best? I'm wanting to take the kids to see the sights. Help... :)

Got three nights london city road including a £9 monday night. Not bad for 4 of us and we've stayed there before and would recommend. This to go with teco clubcard airmiles flights so really chuffed.

Does anyone know how to set your preferences to 2 adults 2 children for the standard search? Found it a bit frustrating that £9 rooms appeared, but they were single rooms and when you amended to a family room, the price shot up, or there were none available.

Search for 2 rooms with 1 adult and child in each which will bring up cheap rooms (do it night by night not multiple nights) and when it comes up it should let you change to 2 adults 2 kids in family room if available and then delete 2nd room.
