Nope - they're illegal in this country.
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.

Yep, one was doing it's rounds here about 4 years ago and my family and friends lost a small fortune. My sister lost £4000, just like that. She cashed in some shares and lost the lot! Don't touch them, they're a complete con and only benefit those who get in there first.

Here's my favourite pyramid scheme work from home website which I do not endorse but find an interesting expose.

I think the word SCAM usually puts me right off :)

Far too many horror stories on watchdog for me. there is no "get rich quick scheme" apart from the guy at the top making his oney out of those desperate enough to sign up.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

How does this pyramid thing work? I vaguely remember someone trying to do one at high school with £1's after reading about it somewhere. Something to so with you give 2 people money, they give 3 people money or something?!?!?!? I remember thiking at the time that it couldn't be sustained because you'd run out of people?!?

  • I have been a Herbalife distributor. The weight loss does work well for some people - I had some customers for whom it was life changing. it is not a get rich quick solution - no such thing exists. If you are prepared to work hard then some people will make money at it. I did in stages but overall it cost me as much as I made! provided you know what you are getting into then that's fine if selling is what you want to do and you are good at it then good luck.

    Wannabedebtfreebeth,
That isn't pyramid selling-that is direct selling. Pyramid selling does not invole a product and is illegal. Direct selling is legal.
Any direct selling business involves dedication and hard work (as does any job for that matter!) but can be highly rewarding.
