can anyone offer some help. My 9 year old niece is doing a school project and has to research the 60`s. can anyone help.

I would do a Google search and see what comes up its usually pretty good.

I was your neices age in the very (!) late 60's, so PM me about primary school life etc.
One thing that I always think about is that when I was 9 I walked about a mile and a half to primary school on my own down country lanes, calling for a friend half way. My parents or i never worried about it.
My own daughters are teenagers, but I would never have let them walk that distance at the age of 9 or older to school on their own.:j0
