Mine was nearer £100k. You're luck the franchisor took it over. Mine just sent me a hefty bill for the 8 years remaining on my contract!!!

  • seriously? So it was added to your debt when you went BR? Man I hadnt even considered that, but if there going to do that then nothing i can do, cant flog a dead horse.

Well, they havent officially taken it over, but they have taken over running it and have offered financial help for a little while. Basically, theres two guys that have a master franchise for my area, and im the first store, so if it goes under, they will never get another one here.... but will see how the next few months go

Yes, I didn't actually put it in my petition because they waited 6 months to send me that bill so I just told them I was bankrupt and never heard from them again. Funny enough the founder of that company went BR years and years ago before he got his formula right now he is a multi millionaire so don't fret - it can happen to you. You've done the BR bit now its onwards and upwards!!!

  • Lol, yea ive heard that about some guy on dragons den who went BR and is now a millionaire, to be honest with you, some ppl are designed to be self employed, others employed, i think im the latter but its fine. no one would have talked me out of doing it still though, so I guess some experiences cant be lived they have to be learned...or is that cant be learned they have to be lived...

Mine was f2f and its nothing to worry about. You may even feel better to get your points across than if you had a telephone interview. Remember if you don't remember something just be honest and say so. Just answer what is asked - no need to go volunteering other information.
