Interest free credit not

I recently purchased new facia boards and guttering from a company called Virgo the sales rep filled in my order and i requested 1 year interest free credit to my surprise the bank is going to charged me £29 for early settlement I contacted them and said it was interest free but they told me that it was in the small print the sales rep never mentioned it to me do i have to pay it help

Yup. I presume you didn't read it before you signed? Although I can't see the logic in an early settlement fee, given it is interest free... but there you go. It won't cost you to keep paying at 0%, but will cost you £29 to settle early. May as well keep paying?Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j

Pay off all but £1 and set a reminder in you mobile for the week before the settlement is due. Send them a chq for the outstanding balance - it'll cost more than £1 to process this but serves them right!!!One life.0
