Titanic hamper....ideas? Pleaseee

Hiya, I'm a lurker on here, love all the great ideas and have made so many nice hampers thanks to all your ideas. My boyfriends mum is obsessed with The Titanic, so much infact she believes she was on it, god bless her lol. So we have had the idea of doing a hamper with the theme of Titanic. So far i have a Titanic dinner party box set (from the boots glitch a while back) and a novel about the titanic. That is it up to now, oh and i have a budget of £20.00 not much I know, but hopefully it is do able. Thanks in advance. I must remember to take a photo before I wrap I have nearly 20 hampers done already but I forgot to take photos I will remember on Xmas day to take photos and post in the thread. Thanks again

  • Is there a special edition of the dvd you could buy if she doesn't already have it, or the soundtrack?

What about a newspaper from the day it sank?

If you look on ebay they've got postcards, mugs, all sorts of stuff.

  • Hi I too did a search on ebay and there is loads, very reasonably priced, some lovely postcards you could frame.
Also try Amazon, there is a really super pop up book, might even find it cheaper on ebay?
  • The ice cube tray is on Amazon also
  • don't know if she drinks beer but there is a titanic brewery which sells themed beers and gifts here
plenty of other titanic gifts here and also here
you could also enclose a card saying you have donated £5 to the RNLI which might be appropriate

how about a bottle of champagne/cava, to resemble the bottle which would have been smashed against the hull of the ship on its maiden voyage, you could even put a bon voyage suitcase tag round it with the date it set sail on it.

That or anything incorporating a white star for the company?
