Whats Quidco?

I often see Quidco mentioned, and when I looked at their homepage I couldnt work out totally what they are about!

Can anyone explain exactly what this is? It seems to be a good idea to join judging by the posts on this forum, but the website doesnt seem to explain it very well (or is it just me too tired tonight!??!).

Ta!

Someone may be able to provide a more succinct answer, but basically my understanding is that it is a co-operative providing cashback directly to the consumer. Their rates are generally much better than other cashback sites - I have been using them for about 5 months and have built up cashback of £220 - a mixture of freebies such as cashback for DVD trials / daily clicks and then other biggies such as cashback on annual insurance policies. I can highly recommend, have a browse of their retailers to see how much they pay for various things.

    Hope this helps!

Quidco is the web's cashback cooperative. Quidco collects referral commissions from online merchants and passes them all on to our members. The Quidco cooperative is a cashback revolution where members keep their full earnings in exchange for giving Quidco £5 out of their earnings once a year.

The Quidco model works for both the merchant and you. It enables the merchant to reach a large base of motivated savvy buyers and it enables you to get back big savings by buying from merchants who participate in the model.

Their homepage explains it the best (if you're not logged in or if you're not registered). They pass any commission to you minus the first £5.

I would really recommend it, I joined about two weeks ago and have already made £68 and another £40 indirectly (by signing up to a bingo site and winning that amout, I got £30 for signing up to them) or you can get cashback for signing up for free trials such as blockbusters home rentals is £12.50 which you then cancel after a week or so.

They are the biggest payers of cash back and all they ask is for £5 (if you have earned that much) a year, if you dont earn enough then you dont pay. But after £68 in two weeks I dont mind

I done a decent cashback item last night though them by opening a mecca bingo games account with a deposit of at least £10 and Quidco give you £30 cashback and also if you play £10 or more on the slot machines with at least 5 spins Mecca also give you a bonus £10 into your account within 24 hours

There are some decent things on Quidco and stuff like doing a seach on kelkoo you get 10p for it but they only let you do it once per day but at the end of the day it's free money.

Quidco and the various other cashback sites are all worth registering with, you can soon accumulate the pounds if you do alot of shopping on line, you can even get a few pence back of most of them for just doing a price comparison. However just watch out for the gambling sites, I have heard of a few people being drawn in after taking the initail freebee, 1 bloke at work had a £1200 visa bill last Xmas, his son thought he would be able to win the money back!!!
