Dyson DC19 half price

Noticed in my local store Dyson DC19s reduced to pennies under £100 from £200. I looked up the dyson web site and they are over £200 still but does say it is end of line. Sounds like a cracking price if you need one and don't mind getting "old" model range. Or am i missing something?

Picked up one on the way home, was £99.97 and it would appear that I got 500 extra points, so that would be 600 in total or £24 in value if i exchanged for the 4x. Scratch that... it says i got a total of 724 points (i bought £7.31 of other stuff) so is it double points just now?

Just phoned my local Tesco and they have 4 in stock...price £199!

There is now a T2 model out which appears to be full price, although i couldn't see much of a difference between them. Might just be your luck phoning about to see if anywhere local has the old stock in.

Gave it a go last night, and very pleased with the results. First time i've used a cylinder rather than an upright. Makes quite a difference not pushing the full weight around, and boy can it get underneath things! That Dyson chap makes some smart Hoovers! (I can't help calling them all Hoovers!)

Did anyone else manage to pick one up?
