Hi, am new to this site. Have just spoken to money advice service who are helping me to g o BR. I must say they are fantastic !.Anyway he told me to expect a form 17 in the next 10 days or so..but can anyone tell me what's on it ? they have been so helpful I didn't want to keep him on phone too long when I know there are plenty others needing his help.

It simply asks you to confirm the details that you gave when you applied for LILA. i.e. that you have an income below the required threshold, no individual assets over £1000 and that your total assets are below £10K. You MUST sign and date this form and return it to AiB within 21days or the deal is off and they keep your application fee.

BTW They will send you another one (or similar) after six months to confirm the same details. Also, whilst you may often read about early discharge in other posts on this form, don't expect it to happen in Scotland.0 -
Thanks BeginAgain, he did say it would be 1 year before discharge, but whatever way it goes, it will be a weight of my mind.0
