In credit with Empire!?

(Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I figured lots of Empire users would be on here!)

Just checked my Empire account online and I'm £11.48 in credit! The only thing I've ordered this year was the 3mpx camera that turned out to be 2mpx, I rang and complained, said I'd send it back, but my dad said he wanted a camera so I gave it to him. I've been refunded for something I didn't return!:rotfl:

Anyway; my question is, how do I get this money back? I placed an order today for some sandals for the OH using the £10 code and the extra £1.99 was charged to my card.

Do I have to call in working hours and ask them to post me a cheque?

  • I had this - send them an email and they should send you a cheque

why dont you ring empire and tell them there has been a mistake and they have credited you with something you havent returned....either you will get bad karma or the mistake may be noticed later and they will chase you for the cash...its hardly worth the hassle for £11 quid ...failing that why dont you order something for the credit you shouldnt have.... sorry if this offends you and i m aware this site is about screwing companies but do it legally and honestly...as what goes around comes back around!!

So you got a camera for free and now you want the £11 back??

I'm asuming that this camera costs a bit, right?

    Are you crazy?
If i were you i'd keep my mouth shut and hope no one notices!

I totally agree, people who abuse the system ruin it for everyone else. By requestind a refund you may well alert Empire to a flaw in their system.
In turn they may stop issuing codes.
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

  • Empire offered a camera but did not keep their terms of the offer.
As a sign of good will they refunded 11.48 to your account.

Why is everyone getting so touchy.
A few piggies must have migrated to this post.

I would just spend £11.48 on your account once the free codes finish.
