Hi All,
After being discharged on 17/10/09 , we felt a weight had been lifted, and after a difficult year, thought we could move on with our lives, but today we received a bill from Halifax to repay the full amount we owed on the loan prior to BR on 17/10/08 by 08/12/09, there is no way we can pay £12,500 by 08/12/09, are they allowed to do this?, or are they just trying there luck.
I feel I should report them but not sure if I should contact the OR now that we are discharged.
Any help much appreciated,

Hi
If this was included in the BR you need to get in touch with your OR. They should be able to sort this out.

Yep. Refer it to your OR.
Halifax will probably argue that they are still allowed to send statements listing what is outstanding, but if they hassle you report them to your OR.
If they continue beyond that then you can also report them to the OFT and trading standards.
