So what is the general trend in mortgage rates?

I have a particular interest in fixed rates but, more generally, I'm trying to get a feel of what's happening.

My overall impression is that matters are on hold for most lenders.

    Swap rates are, for most terms, higher than 6 months ago and lower than a year ago.
    My overall impression is that matters are on hold for most lenders.
    You'd think the next movement would probably be down. Slightly.
