Heres the score, I live alone & when I make some Tea, I have to use a Big Electric Oven.
Im curious to what others do, as im thinking surely me Heating up the Big Oven and using that to Cook must be using far more Electricity/Energy than needed.
Would I be better off looking at getting a Mini Oven. Ive spotted a couple and thought it would be perfect, especially with one being around £20.
Would it be more energy efficient and cheaper for me to use the Small Oven
Lidl - Electric Grill & Oven
Moulinex Principio Mini Oven
Whats peoples opinions to if I would be better off? or if they know of any equivilents,
I have ordered something with La Redoute & hope to get this as a Free Gift anyway

For 10 years I have used a Panasonic convection microwave for small amounts of baking etc, I have also used it with a hot plate for 2 years as my only oven when we lived in a small cottage and the choice was a table in the kitchen to eat at or an oven, the table won.
It heats up quickly, cooks at a lower temerature and is econimical to run......jacket spuds weighing 1lb cook in 16 minutes and the skin is crispy. It cooks roasts, bakes and casseroles as well as microwaves........
I have a slow cooker which I use on econ 7 at night, and a romuksa which we used to use in the caravan, but I use it occasionally of I have a very small amount to cook, although it will take a fairly large chicken as long as you take the ends of the legs off.
I keep wondering when its going to give up but it keeps going........ I cooked out supper in it tonight, pork chops and roast spuds.
Its worth investigating.......
