I have a loan with the CU which I am paying off quite happily. I would like to pay extra to pay the loan off quicker (this is allowed with no penalty with the CU.) Is there a very easy, idiots calculator I can use too work out that if I pay X amount I will pay the loan off in X months but if I pay X amount more I will pay it off X months earlier. The interest rate is 12%APR.
Many thanks.
