Hi
I am looking at buying some Caterpillar boots for my fiance for xmas online, and was wondering what the sizing is like generally? He is a 9-10 so its a bit tricky as I never know which one to order and I want to suprise him on xmas day.
Does anyone/anyone's partner have Carterpillar footwear that can advise me please?
Thanks

I'm a size 6 and have 2 pairs in a size 6. They are quite generous in size as I can wear thick socks with mine comfortably. I would personally go with a size 10 and he can wear thick socks with them. It's better than them being a little bit too tight.
Hope this helps0 -
Thanks for the reply, if they are generous in size I'd prob be better with the 9 though I guess? I don't suppose you know if Dr Marten's come up big or small either do you please? Thats the other optionWe do not inherit the earth from our fathers, we borrow it from our grandchildren0

I have a pair of Cat boots for work and they fit perfectly (UK size 11) but I'm pretty sure most Cat boots/shoes are wide fitting rather than standard fit which may not suit all.
I only ever owned one pair of DMs and they were a bit tight if anything, that was a few years ago now.0 -

Hi
My husband is a 9 / 10 and I have just been a looked and his Cat boots are a 10. He does wear thick socks as a general rule. Hope this helps0 -
Brill thanks for the reply...I'm thinking perhaps I should just get him to try them on in a shop and give me his size now? It would be disappointing if they don't fit...We do not inherit the earth from our fathers, we borrow it from our grandchildren0
